Country’s biggest carmaker gets an order for 12,000 units from Indonesia.

I just read this news on Economic Times that Maruti Udyog Ltd. has received a order of 12000 units for its compact car Zen Estilo,from Indonesia.Estilo was launched in the Month of May this Year.
Maruti has already exported 5500 units so far.This gives Maruti an opportunity to get a share in the foreign markets.Maruti,however faces competition from companies such as Hyundai and Kia Picanto.Maruti wants to consolidate its existing market share and also focus on exploring new markets like the UAE.The export target set by Maruti is of around 2,20,000 units by the year 2010.
