High demand for NZ Internet Domain Names

There seems to be a high demand for .NZ Internet domain names as the number of locally registered .NZ Internet domain names is now 300,000 and there is no sign of slowing down.

According to this news on Stuff.co.nz, the domain registrations were at 250,000 in October last year and the average rate of domains registered per month over 2006/07 came out to be 7451.
