3.Anil Ambani : $45 billion

Thanks to the booming stock market and the strong rupee.What happens is that the net worth of the billionaires increases as a result of the rise in the value of the shares they own.

That is an impressive list. I think the much more import economic data though is the increasing wealth of the middle class in India. I hope those billionaires do what Warren Buffett and Bill Gates has promised and give more than 99% of their wealth to charity.
