Lifestyle retail 

Indian FMCG Company Dabur will enter the lifestyle retail business through its wholly owned subsidiary known as H & B stores.Dabur will invest about Rs 140 Crores by the year 2010 for this business.

The consumers will be offered health,beauty,wellness and personal care products.For example: cosmetics,perfumes and fragrances,skin care products,merchandise and so on.

Products from other companies and private labels will also be available.

The stores

Dabur has chosen ‘new-u’ as the brand name for its lifestyle retail business.

The size of the stores will range from 1200-6000 square feet.

The first store will be opened in Delhi by January next year.

The company is going to have a total of about 160 stores by 2010

Dabur has a revenue target of aboutRs 1000 Crores by 2010 from the lifestyle retail business.
