The thing is, how does one know the inner workings when starting a business that one is not familiar with?

  3. adminNo Gravatar Says:

You have to make your market research and get to know about the working model of the business.

Being unfamiliar with a particular business, is NO excuse for an entrepreneur to not to enter that business.

An entrepreneur’s job is to overcome all barriers and set his business up.

If you identify an opportunity,go for it.Your business plan needs to be well written, start to finish.

Take an example of Subhash Chandra of Zee TV.He did not have prior knowledge of the satellite TV industry. He made all his market research and then started Zee TV.

Great! The people who made good money through their innovative Business ideas are good. But it would be useful when successful people like “Sameer Gehlaut” help & allow to provide guidance to new business idea companies to get needed financial help & provide directions so that we would have lot of new companies to come up without much of struggles.
We are having Services Market Place http://www.eServicePlace.com , still looking for funding. It is real great idea but world accepts new concept only if it succeed else great ideas are being wasted.
Looking for successful companies or successful people could help to provide their valuable input.

He sure is a great personality. I feel proud for the moments of interaction with Sameer and Rajiv in 2000 when they were setting up their office in the basement of a house in Safdurjung Enclave. I was there to sell them and implement the Reuters financial system to provide almost real time feed from stock markets. He wanted the best of the technology implemented for his company.

Hats off Sameer Gehlaut. Just in a span of 9 years of incorporation, Indiabulls has got huge credibility in the minds of people. with a Market capitalisation of Rs.25000 cr, Indiabulls is leapfrogging into many business sectors like-
    Real estate.
    Power.
    Consumer finance.
    Retail.
    Credit services.
    Multiplexes.
    Mortgages.
The share price of Indiabulls now is trading in the range of 250-300. Once it reached a highest of Rs 625 from Rs 5, when it came for IPO.
No one has a thought that a 30-year-old entrepreneur working from two computers in a tin-roofed office near the Hauz Khas bus terminal in New Delhi would enter The Billionaire Club list six years later? Really a great achievement.

There are lots of opportunities open, all we have to do is observe them and follow.
