The list of the 10 richest people in the world:

The 2011 Forbes’ list of billionaires has come out. Telecom billionaire Carlos Slim Helu from Mexico is the richest man in the world with a net worth of $74 billion. Bill Gates is at the second position with a net worth of $ 56 billion. The third richest man is Warren Buffett with a net worth of $ 50 billion.

There are two Indian business tycoons, Mukesh Ambani and Lakshmi Mittal in the top ten. The list has 1210 billionaires with a total net worth of $ 4.5 trillion.
